Making a Tiefling Paladin is definitely possible, but how Tieflings are seen and treated in the setting/world you will be playing in has to be taken into consideration (your DM might straightaway ban the possibility of certain race/class combinations).

my player wants to make a tiefling paladin, however i an unsure if i should allow this? as tieflings have objectively chaotic tendencies, as well as an evil nature, and paladins arent meant to be either of those things. i don't want to be a boring dm and say no, but i also don't want to let things that wouldnt happen just fly. any input?
